You have a key role in helping your child make career choices. It's important that you know about the options and choices open to them.
What is Connexions?
Connexions is the advice and guidance service for 13 to 19 year olds (up to 25 for young people with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities). If you look on the 'Easy Read' section of this website you will find pages of information for young people with Learning Difficulties.

What can you do?
Talking to a Connexions Adviser at parents' events at school or college or in your local Connexions Centre will enable you to find out about:
- The learning pathways like Foundation Learning, GCSEs, Diplomas, AS/A Levels and other courses
- The colleges, apprenticeships, training and other opportunities which are suitable for your child.
- Other opportunities, such as volunteering, available to young people.
- How a Connexions Adviser will work with and support your child.
